Zuria Dor is looking for a self-driven, enthusiastic digital content writer to take on copywriting and content planning for all the brand’s digital content, pushing the brand forward through smart, engaging copy that inspires and informs the customer across all touchpoints, increasing community engagement and improving brand awareness. The ideal candidate is experienced in storytelling, is an enthusiastic multi-tasker with an openness to take on new projects with genuine excitement, is willing to listen and able to contribute ideas and implement them. The ideal candidate will be able to connect stories and messages to the larger world of fashion, culture, and key trends —while always remaining true to the voice and vision of Zuria Dor.

The content writer will get exposure to digital marketing and e-commerce operations with the opportunity to make a difference.

How you will contribute:

  • Establish stories and define narratives for local and global markets: write, build and adapt international storytelling
  • Plan, write and publish regular blogs in line with the content strategy and brand events
  • Develop messaging for brand marketing initiatives and special projects (pop-ups, invites, mailers, partnerships, store events, in-store signage, scripts, etc.)
  • Author storytelling for each campaign, driving creation of end-to-end copy across all channels (digital, social, site, email, retail, PR, etc.) 
  • Provide thought leadership and lead brainstorming/working sessions around planning
  • Write and adapt copy for international sites, emails, digital marketing, print, social; support customized product descriptions for international regions; drive subject line testing
  • Ensure that all messaging is relevant to taking cultural nuances into account
  • Support social projects and initiatives across channels (eg. fashion show, special product launches, etc.)
  • Relentlessly review all copy and creative, checking for context, spelling, syntax and tone. Ensure marketing copy does not sound like "marketing speak"; review all site refreshes in staging
  • Manage feedback from creative reviews, update and pivot based on business needs­­­
  • Experience writing, editing and honing brand voice, with a deep knowledge of luxury fashion, style and culture

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or relevant liberal arts field
  • 3-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong writer who challenges the status quo and knows when and how to shift tone; understands that five words, if the right ones, can have the same impact as a beautiful image
  • Ability to challenge the norm and think outside the box 
  • Knows how to package stories
  • Culturally tuned-in and can translate a marketing brief into a compelling story
  • Must be able to work with different types of people and departments
  • Always looking for and thinking about new ways to do things, shake up the process
  • Highly organised, with meticulous attention to the little things
  • Flexibility to balance editorial and business needs
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task, adapt and re-prioritise
  • Ability to research and fact-check
  • Understands the difference between clever and cliché

  • Strong digital fluency
