This position is responsible for analysing, reviewing, and implementing SEO strategy for the brand. You will work with business and marketing counterparts to capture key marketing requirements and translate them. You will be an enthusiastic self-motivator with a high customer and product delivery orientation, with the ability to both, understand the “big picture” issues and to drill down to detail.

This position reports to the CEO.

How you will contribute:

  • Reviewing and analysing website areas that can be improved and optimised
  • Developing optimisation strategies that increase the brand's search engine results’ rankings
  • Identifying powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic
  • Preparing detailed strategy reports
  • Plan, develop and implement brand's SEO strategy
  • Work towards organic search optimisation and ROI maximisation
  • Regularly perform thorough keywords research
  • Identify key SEO KPIs
  • Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs
  • Prepare and present reports regularly
  • Identify our buyer persona to better target identified audiences
  • Identify problems and deficiency and implement solutions in a timely manner 
  • Suggest improvements in process and productivity optimisation
  • Collaborate with web developers and marketing team
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices
  • Running Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns for relevant audiences
  • Running Google AD word campaigns with a data-driven focus
  • Writing and recommending powerful Call-to-Action (CTA) content to convert visitors
  • Drafting website content with a primary focus on effective keywords, including meta-tags and meta-descriptions for web pages
  • Developing link-building and back-linking strategies
  • Setting measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts
  • Monitoring daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
  • Efficiently communicating and collaborating with marketing to manage and align goals
  • Writing effective SEO content for blogs and social media based campaigns
  • Updating content and website links for maximum optimisation and search engine rankings
  • Analysing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors
  • Compiling, documenting and presenting SEO guidelines for future needs of the brand

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
  • Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
  • Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics, PageSpeed, and Keyword Planner. Additional tool knowledge and recommendations will be a plus
  • Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
  • Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in person, email, phone, etc.)
  • Comfortable analysing volumes of data on a daily basis
  • Familiarity with Shopify or other content management systems
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically, with a positive attitude of identifying and resolving problems
  • Ability to work both within a team and independently.
  • Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth
  • Proven success in SEO 
  • Expertise in A/B and other testing methods
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • In-depth knowledge of research principles and methods and experience in analysing data 
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
