You will primarily focus on supporting the design and development of Zuria Dor’s ready-to-wear collections, from sketching and fabric selection to sample coordination. In addition to assisting senior designers, you will collaborate on call of lead with production, merchandising, and styling teams to ensure timely execution and quality. You will play a key role in bringing creative concepts to life, maintaining design documentation, and contributing to seasonal design stories. This position offers hands-on exposure to the luxury fashion process and reports to the Design Lead.

About the Role

Zuria Dor is looking for a Junior Fashion Designer to join our Ready-to-Wear team. This is a great opportunity for emerging designers who are passionate about luxury fashion, creative design, and modern aesthetics. You’ll work closely with the senior design team to develop seasonal collections, research trends, and translate ideas into beautiful, wearable designs.

Key Responsibilities are following but not strictly limited to:

• Assist in developing ready-to-wear collections aligned with Zuria Dor’s design philosophy.
• Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and cultural inspirations to support concept development.
• Create design sketches, mood boards, CADs, and presentations to visualize design directions.
• Support in sourcing fabrics, trims, and embellishments in collaboration with the design team.
• Prepare and update tech packs and design documentation.
• Participate in internal design discussions, fittings, and review sessions.
• Coordinate with pattern, embroidery, and stitching teams to ensure accurate execution of design intent.
• Stay updated on luxury fashion trends, customer preferences, and market movements.

Ideal Candidate

• 1–2 years of experience in fashion design (luxury or ready-to-wear experience is a plus).
• Strong design sensibility with the ability to translate concepts into market-relevant designs.
• Good understanding of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and design software.
• Attention to detail, organized, and able to manage multiple design tasks.
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills.
• Interest and awareness of Pakistan’s luxury fashion market and customer expectations.
• Fluent in English; Urdu proficiency is a plus.
