As a production planner you will play a critical role in managing the manufacturing process to ensure timely and efficient production of our high-quality products. Your planning and coordination will be essential in maintaining the brand's reputation for excellence in craftsmanship and delivery.
How you will contribute:
- Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity, ensuring timely delivery of products to meet demand.
- Material Planning: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components required for production, optimising inventory levels to minimise stock outs and excess inventory.
- Capacity Planning: Monitor production capacity and resource availability, balancing workload across production lines to maximise efficiency and minimise bottlenecks.
- Order Management: Manage order fulfilment processes, including order prioritisation, allocation of resources, and coordination with relevant departments to ensure orders are processed and shipped on time.
- Production Coordination: Liaise with internal teams, including design, client advisory, and operations, to communicate production requirements and address any issues or changes in production plans.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications throughout the production process, identifying and resolving any quality-related issues that may arise.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency improvement within the production workflow, implementing measures to streamline operations and reduce lead times.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and analsze production data to track key performance indicators, such as production output, efficiency, and adherence to schedule, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to ensure alignment of production plans with overall business objectives and customer expectations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in production planning or related roles, preferably in the luxury fashion or manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems, with experience in capacity planning and material requirements planning.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, with a focus on delivering exceptional products and customer satisfaction.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing production demands and priorities.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management principles, and industry best practices.
